Our unit has developed into a 54 bed community utilizing:

Certified Psychiatric Nurse

Behavior Programs

Diversional Activities

There are scheduled activities in our recreation room
and an attached courtyard for residents to enjoy.

Regularly supervised smoking groups are offered for
residents.
We use a holistic team approach with consistent
staff establishing support with residents in treating the
cause of the problem, not just the behaviors. Cardinal Way
provides ongoing up-to-date in-servicing for staff. Cardinal
Way staff are aware and understand the complexity and emotional
strain of treating residents with atypical diagnoses. Cardinal
Way accommodates a wide range of resident needs.
